New at Domaine Landreau: Our red and pink wines of French

In addition to our historic production of cognac and pineau des Charentes, we are delighted to present a new stage in the history of Domaine Landreau: the creation of our first wines of French.
Produced from our own vineyards and vinified to the same exacting standards as our spirits, these red and rosé wines reflect our desire to offer accessible, fruity and generous cuvées to be enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere.
MAGDALA – Pink wine
This fresh, expressive rosé seduces with its lightness and delicacy, perfect for fine weather.
Tasting notes: Pale pink, slightly salmon-coloured, brilliant and limpid. The nose is charming, with notes of red berries (raspberry, redcurrant), English sweets and citrus fruit. The palate is lively, fruity and refreshing, with good tension. The finish is delicate and thirst-quenching.
Food pairing:
– As an aperitif: enjoy well chilled, on its own or with fresh goat’s cheese toast.
– At the table: Serve with summer salads or grilled fish.
CRISTOS – Red wine
A wine for sharing, full of finesse and conviviality.
Tasting notes:
A deep ruby colour with hints of violet, evoking the wine’s youth and vitality. The nose reveals generous aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and strawberry. The palate is supple and delicious, with discreet, mellow tannins. The fruit dominates brilliantly, offering a lovely roundness and a fruity, slightly spicy finish.
Grape varieties & Production :
Made from a blend of traditional red grape varieties (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) vinified in vats to preserve aromatic freshness. Short ageing to preserve the crispness of the fruit.
Food pairing :
– As an aperitif: serve slightly chilled, with a platter of cold meats or tapas.
– At the table: a perfect accompaniment to convivial occasions, such as grilled meats.
These new wines bear witness to our attachment to the terroir and our desire to bring it to life in a new way, while remaining faithful to our family know-how inherited for six generations.
